Genotyping for MMRRC#33006 was performed on ONE homozygous male mouse submitted to the MMRRC-UNC archive by the donating investigator. When compared to C57BL/6J (Reference 1) and 129X1 (Reference 2) genotypes, MUGA genotyping indicated that the strain background was 93.52% C57BL/6J. Based on the single sample that was genotyped, the genetic background of this line is not fixed and contains multiple segregating regions. A 71.23Mb interval on Chromosome 1 that is homozygous for 129X1 markers spans the targeted mutation at the Ptpn4 locus. The strain background for this sample is consistent with the information provided by the donating investigator on the strain detail sheet.
